Condolence: Hello Ann - Please accept my deepest sympathies to your family at this time - thinking of you all. I know it has been many years since seeing you and your mom, but I always had such respect for her and how she impacted so many of our friends' lives that she coached at school --- and was such a terrific Mom to you all. Much love - Ann and Helen xxxx

Condolence: Hello Ann, Carla, and Tonya. Your mother and my mother, Charlene, were active in field hockey together, with your mom being a coach and my mom being a referee for many years. When we were all kids, we hung out together while our moms were active with field hockey games. Please accept my sincerest condolences and sympathies at this trying time. May God comfort your hearts and may your memories of your mom and dad be both many and sweet.

Condolence: My condolences to Ruth's family. She was my gym teacher at Ephrata Middle School in the 90's and left a lasting impression. I still remember her as one the kindest women I have ever had the chance to know and admire. Rest in peace, you will be missed.

Condolence From: Trisa "Nip Witmer" Warren
Condolence: Ann, Carla, and Tonya (and families) please accept my deepest sympathies on the passing of your dear mother. Although I am sure you are glad she is free of pain and reunited with your dad it is hard to loose your mom. It's difficult to put into words the kind of impact your mom had on me and so many young ladies. She cared about us personally and pushed us athletically. She was the kind of person you wanted to emulate when you grew up. I am so sorry that I will be unable to attend either of her services since I will be out of town but know that my love, respect and prayers will be there in my absence.

Condolence: After over two decades since teaching with Ruth at Ephrata Middle School, I can still hear her hearty laugh as we ate together in the faculty room. I can also recall her prayers before eating and the way Ruth would keep the folks in line if the conversation took a less-than-wholesome/peaceful turn. She was clearly a woman of faith and standards, and I admired her greatly. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and great joy in life, teaching and family. Ruth was quiet and unassuming but always had a story to share or a tale about a place she had visited or someone she had met. And the stories were always positive and uplifting. What a testimony to the way she lived. Blessings to all of you as you feel the loss of her absence here on this earth. May the love and memories of Ruth bring you peace in the days to come.
