Grace B. (Kurtz) Unruh, 96, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Ephrata Manor.

She was born in Reistville to the late Isaac and Sally Kurtz and was the wife of the late J. Howard Unruh who passed away in 2013.

A graduate of Schaefferstown High School, she had perfect attendance for all 12 years of school.

In the early years Grace had worked for Cinderella Knitting Mill and Gerber.

Grace is survived by 3 children, Judy A., wife of Walter Martin of Ephrata, Ted, husband of Elaine (Sweitzer) Unruh of Reinholds, and Jane, wife of Marlin Good of New Holland; 6 grandchildren, Lisa, Brian and Scott Martin, Jessica, wife of Daniel Valadie, Jared, husband of Becky Unruh, Tara, wife of Antonio Thompson; and 9 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by a son James Unruh; 4 brothers, Alvin, Wilson, Warren, and Harold Kurtz; and a sister, Martha Sanders.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017, from 9 to 10 am at the Donecker Chapel at Ephrata Manor, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata. Funeral services will follow at 10 am, with Pastor Bob Kilgore officiating. Interment will take place in the Steinmetz Cemetery.
