Leon S. Weaver, 78, of New Holland, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Temple University Hospital.

He was born in E. Cocalico Twp. to the late Martin S. and Clara D. (Stahl) Weaver.

He attended Springville Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conf.).

Leon is survived by 8 siblings, Eldon, husband of Grace Weaver, Carl, husband of Irene Weaver, both of Port Trevorton, Edward, husband of June Weaver, Joseph, husband of Eunice Weaver, John, husband of Marie Weaver, Clara, wife of Melvin Auker, all of Ephrata, Kathryn, wife of Mervin Martin of New Holland, Mahlon Weaver of Reading and a sister-in-law, Alice Mae Weaver of Quarryville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Martin Weaver, Jr. and 3 sisters, Pauline, Dorothy and Joyce Weaver.

A viewing will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the residence of Edward Weaver, 152 Garden Spot Road, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 2 PM at the Pike Mennonite Church, 2530 Division Highway, Ephrata, with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
