Obituary for Glenn O. Fritz

Glenn O.  Fritz
Glenn O. Fritz, 76, of Denver, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017, surrounded by his entire loving family.

He was born in Adamstown and was the son of to the late Oliver and Anna Mary Fritz. He leaves behind his loving wife, Geraldine (Weinhold) Fritz, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Glenn worked as a general contractor most of his life and enjoyed deep sea fishing, hunting, gardening, and the outdoors. He was an avid bee keeper along with all his children and loved his dogs.

In addition to his loving wife, Glenn is survived by 7 children, Julie (Terry) Laudermilch, Dan (Shelia) Fritz, Angela (George) Styer, Bill (Tina) Fritz, John (Joy) Fritz, Steve (Anissa) Fritz, and Harley (Amanda) Fritz. He had 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, with 2 on the way. He was extremely proud of all of their accomplishments in life.

Surviving siblings are Madalene Brendle, Barbara Keenan, Jeanette (Hershey) Zimmerman, Susan Dietrich and Jack Fritz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jim and Dave Fritz.

A visitation where family will greet friends and relatives will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 10 to 11 AM prior to the memorial service at 11:00 AM, at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver, with Pastor Keith Sweitzer officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown.
