Robert M. Buckwalter, Jr., 46, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017.

He was born in Lancaster to Robert M. and Irene J. (Bemesderfer) Buckwalter and was the husband of Pamela A. (Postlethwait) Buckwalter with whom he would have celebrated 25 years of marriage on September 26th.

Robert was a devoted father, husband and loving family man. He was an avid car enthusiast and loved doing home projects. He was a pressman for R.R. Donnelly and Sons. Robert had many friends at work and in his car circles. His friends and family describe him as honest and hardworking and would do anything for you.

In addition to his wife and parents, Robert is survived by 2 daughters, Samantha A. Buckwalter, fiancé of Timothy J. Marquette, Kayla M., wife of Kyle M. Henry; 2 grandchildren, Kiara and Kaiden, with another on the way and a brother, Kevin L., husband of Lori R. Buckwalter.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017, from 1 to 2 PM at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 North 9th Street, Akron, PA 17501, followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tim Morrison officiating.
