Glenn Wilford Steffen, 83 of Lititz, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at home. He was born October 7, 1934 in Kidron, OH to the late David and B. Luella (Geiser) Steffen and married Marjorie (Mast) Steffen on September 27, 1958.

He graduated from Eastern Mennonite High School (1952) and Eastern Mennonite College (1958), Harrisonburg, VA. He worked in insurance claims for 42 years and was a long-time resident of Oley, PA. As a member of Oley Mennonite Church he served the church actively and faithfully for many years as a lay leader.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, he is survived by two children, Andrea (Robert) Ganger of Goshen, IN, and Roderick (Janice) Steffen of Greeley, CO; six grandsons: Benjamin (Alexandria), Zachariah and Nathaniel Ganger, Niklaus, Joseph and Daniel Steffen; four siblings: Mahlon Steffen, John Steffen, Leanne Miller, all of Kidron, OH and Rutheda Yoder of Goshen, IN.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by four siblings, Ernest Steffen, Marilyn Miller, Richard Steffen and Dorcas Hanbury.

Family will receive guests Sunday, October 15, 2017, from 6 to 8 PM, at Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. 9th St., Akron, PA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at the Oley Mennonite Church, 1571 Memorial Highway, Oley, PA 19547.
