We will all miss Rick. I applaud his overcoming spirit and his courage in how he dealt with the weakness and balance issues of Parkinson's. He was not one to sit on the sidelines or feel sorry for himself. It was heartening and inspirational to see him play volleyball when we would all get together at Bass Lake. When he fell, he would just get right back up again. He did not allow Parkinson's to keep him down. He made us proud. We loved him for this, and for a million other ways he showed that irrepressible strength and enthusiasm for life. I believe he now rests with his loving Savior in glorious heavenly dwellings.
