Mary E. Mahoney, 94, of Lititz, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Landis Homes.

She was born in Goodville to the late Henry and Mary (Kilmer) Horning and was the wife of the late Gerald Joseph Mahoney.

Mary was a member of the Alive Church. During her working years, during the 60's and 70's she worked at Pantry Pride and later at Oregon Dairy.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley A., wife of Craig A. Miller of Macon, MS and three granddaughters, Valerie, Ashley and Bethany Miller.


In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Clarence and Paul Horning; two sisters, Anna Zimmerman and Mabel Boose.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, from 10 to 11 am, at Landis Homes, West Bethany Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz, followed by her funeral service at 11 am. Interment will take place in the Hammer Creek Mennonite Cemetery.
