Obituary for Joshua W. Browell

Joshua Wayne Browell, 29, of Ephrata, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, December 30, 2017 after struggling with addiction the past several years.

He was born in Lancaster to Joseph D. and Barbara L. (Brouse) Browell of Ephrata.

Josh had a very creative mind and his love for animals was evident. In his teenage years he participated in the Ephrata Soccer travel team. He was a 2007 graduate of Ephrata High school/Washington Educational center. He had a passion for paintball and traveled locally and nationally with the Velocity and Wanna Play teams.

We all rejoice in the promise of seeing him again.

In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by a sister, Chelsey K., wife of Wendel Martin of East Earl; paternal grandmother, Rose G., wife of the late Joseph Browell, Sr. of Narvon and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard H., Sr., and Kathleen Brouse.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 2 to 4 PM at the First United Methodist Church, 68 N. Church Street, Ephrata, followed by a celebration of life ceremony at 4PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
