Obituary for William D. Elliot, IV

William D. Elliot, IV
William "Billy" D. Elliot, IV, 25, of Philadelphia, formerly of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Temple University Hospital.

He was born in Lancaster to William D. III, husband of Jodi N. (Grube) Elliot of Ephrata, and Corinne M. (Seymour), wife of Matthew M. Adams of Denver.

Billy was passionate about music and loved singing and playing guitar. He was very artistic, outgoing and friendly; a bright light in the room with a kind heart and fun- loving, free spirit. He also enjoyed hunting, hiking, skateboarding and any opportunity to enjoy the moment or spread kindness. He had a natural gift of music and playing any instruments he picked up. His dream was to start a foundation called Heart Strings that would help the less fortunate get instruction and instruments to play music.

In addition to his parents, Billy is survived by a son, Logan R. Reynolds of Lancaster; 9 siblings, James Michael Warren of Lititz, Robert Adams of Denver, Virginia Adams of Denver, Zachary Adams of Nashville, TN, Cory, husband of Nicole Adams of Galeton, Daniel Adams of Wellsboro, Mikayla Elliot of Ephrata, Ethan Elliot of Ephrata, Martina Elliot of Ephrata and grandparents, Michael Seymour, Sr. of Akron, Jan L. and Jennifer L. Miller of Akron, Sheila Grube of Ephrata.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Joan E. Seymour, William D. Elliot, Jr. and Ken Grube, Sr..

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018, from 12 to 2 PM at the Ephrata Community Church, 70 Clay School Road, Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 2 PM at the Ephrata Community Church, 70 Clay School Road, Ephrata, with Pastor Michael Wenger officiating. Interment will take place in the Mt. Zion Evangelical Cemetery.
