Shane Z. Zimmerman, 12, of Lititz, lost his battle with leukemia on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Hershey Medical Center.

He was born in Lititz to Weaver R. "Ray" and Minerva B. (Zimmerman) Zimmerman.

He attended Groffdale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Shane was a 6th grade student at Middle Creek Parochial School, Lititz.

In addition to his parents, Shane is survived by 4 siblings, Marcelia Z., Sheldon Z., Miranda Z. and Alex Z. Zimmerman, all at home; paternal grandparents, Titus and Mary (Martin) Zimmerman of Lititz and maternal grandparents, David and Ida (Burkholder) Zimmerman of Williamsburg, PA.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, at the Farm Crest Chapel, at Fairmount Homes, 1100 Farm Crest Drive, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018, at 9 AM at the Farm Crest Chapel with further services from the Groffdale Mennonite Church, West Earl Township, at 9:30 AM, with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman and ministers Edwin Reiff, Richard Burkholder and Walter Martin officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
