Dawn E.  Dickson
Dawn Elizabeth Dickson, Lebanon, PA

Dawn Elizabeth Dickson, 56, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, of complications related to diabetes.

She was born in Lancaster, PA to Carol M. Dickson and the late Rev. David M. Dickson. She is survived by two sons: Joseph J. Huss (Suzanne Schmidt), of Ephrata and Michael D. Huss (Sandra) of Carbondale. She was a very proud Grandma and is survived by nine grandchildren: Scott, Kira, Alexandra, Wyatt, Kelly, Shane, William, Eva Marie and Christopher. She is also survived by her special therapy cat, Max.

In addition to her mother, Carol M. Dickson of Cornwall, she is survived by three siblings: Mary, wife of Barry Dissinger of Ephrata, Dianne Dickson, wife of Glenn Danner of Las Vegas, NV, and David Jr., husband of Barbara Dickson of Myerstown. She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.

Dawn was a graduate of Freedom High School, Bethlehem, PA, where she worked on the school newspaper. She held a variety of jobs over the years, most recently as a CNA. She was a very active member of the Good Shepherd UMC in Lebanon, PA, where she sang in the choir and attended small group Thursday night.

Dawn had a very generous spirit and big heart. She loved music (especially The Grateful Dead)! She enjoyed writing and loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018, from 10 to 11 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM at the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd, 1500 Quentin Road, Lebanon, with Pastor Alan Smith officiating. A light luncheon will immediately follow the service.
