Obituary for Lois Ann Perry

Lois Ann Perry, 85, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was born in Chester to the late Clyde and Addie (Lord) Thomas and was the wife of the late Charlie T. Perry who passed away in 2012.

Lois Ann was a sales clerk for K-mart. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and pencil coloring. Her life verse was: “He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

Lois Ann is survived by a son, Thomas, husband of Xiuyu (Linda Yang) Perry of Ephrata; 3 grandchildren, Thomas Shawn, husband of Britt (Jones) Perry of Falling Waters, WV, Matthew Joseph Perry of Martinsburg, WV, Amanda Lee, wife of David Gates of Pearland, TX; 4 great-grandsons, Thomas Perry, Nicholas Perry, Stephen Gates, Dillon Gates; two step-great-grandsons, Chase Renner and Hunter Cline, a step-great-granddaughter, Krystyn Gates and three brothers, Dave Thomas of Quarryville, William Thomas of Oxford, Allen Thomas of Rising Sun, MD.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Jones.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
