Obituary for Ada Mae (Bucher) Weaver

Ada Mae (Bucher)  Weaver
Ada Mae (Bucher) Weaver, 100, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on, March 19, 2018, at the Mennonite Home.

She was born in Manheim Twp. to the late Jonas Hess and Ada Mae (Peifer) Bucher and was the wife of the late Warren Weaver who passed away in 2014.

She was a member of Crossroads Community and was a lifetime member of Hess Mennonite Church.

Ada was a homemaker.

Ada is survived by a son, William Jay, husband of Alice Weaver; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Weaver; a brother, Melvin Bucher; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Ronald W. Weaver, Theodore Lee Weaver; 2 brothers, Chester Bucher, Elam Bucher; a sister, Esther Hollinger and a great-grandson.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, from 10 to 11AM at the Crossroads Community Fellowship, 1060 E. Newport Road, Lititz, followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Kyle Buckwalter and Pastor Glen Sell officiating. Interment will take place in the Hess Mennonite Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Ada's memory may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, P. O. Box 500, Akron, PA 17501.
