Obituary for Mary Floy Rupp
Mary Floy Rupp, 92, of Lancaster, formerly of Akron, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the Mennonite Home, Lancaster.
She was born in Lancaster County to the late Isaac and Mary (Frantz) Rupp.
Mary was a member of the Mohler's Church of the Brethren. During her working years she worked at Lancaster Labs and later the former Wenger’s Flowers. She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and singing.
Mary is survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 niece; 3 brothers, Tillman, Earl, Park Rupp and a sister, Rhoda L. Ressler.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 3, from 12 to 1 pm at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 North Ninth Street, Akron, followed by her funeral service at 1 p.m., with Pastor Carl Brubaker officiating. Interment will take place in the Middle Creek Brethren Cemetery.
If desired, memorial contributions in Mary's memory may be made to the Mennonite Home, 1520 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.
