Obituary for Leon E. Gehman Jr.

Leon E. Gehman, Jr., 29, of Reinholds, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at his residence.

He was born in Ephrata to Leon "Butch" and Elaine A. (Ressler) Gehman and was the husband of Tina M. (Brugger) Gehman.

Leon attended Reamstown Church of God. He had been employed at Premier Custom Built Cabinets, Inc. for the past two years and prior to that he had worked at Ingham’s Powder Coating and MGS Trailers, Inc. He enjoyed playing guitar, building model cars, fishing, gospel music and NASCAR, with Dale Earnhardt, Jr., being his favorite driver.

In addition to his wife and parents, Leon is survived by a step son, Dylan Garner of Ephrata; a step daughter, Danielle Schulze of Ephrata; 4 sisters, Doris Elaine Hartranft of Manheim, Brenda Lee Gehman of Clay, Julie A., wife of Keith Kolp of Ephrata, Laura wife of Steve Hambleton of Lancaster.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lloyd and Ricky Gehman.

A viewing will be held on Monday, July 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, at the Reamstown Church of God, 400 Pfautz Hill Rd., Stevens, followed by his funeral service at 7:30 pm, with Pastor Arthur T. Karick officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in Leon's memory may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042.
