Condolences

Condolence From: Mary Joyce Sotomayor
Condolence: Rest in peace, JR. Today you would have turned 35 years old. You were always young at heart- so eager to play and find a reason to laugh- and now you will be forever young. I remember meeting you the summer before high school outside of the Ephrata Pool. You were happy, skateboarding in that parking lot for hours under the hot sun. You were the best skateboarder I had ever seen! As fun-loving as you were, you were also so passionate about everything that you talked about, even at fourteen years old. You went on to be a caring and loyal friend throughout the years. You went on to touch so many lives.

To JR's family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May the sweet and fun-loving memories of JR help you find peace during this incredibly sad time. JR will always be such a unique and special soul. You have a new angel in your family now.

Condolence: JR brought an incredible amount of knowledge, skill and energy to helping athletes (and non-athletes) heal their injuries and stay healthy. Dedicated and caring in his work, he also had a passion for so many things, such as travel, photography, astronomy and the sciences in general. I will greatly miss the interesting conversations and his sense of humor. The world is a sadder place without him in it.

Condolence: Wheels!! I will miss you. Although I did not know you in the past decade, you and I have great memories from childhood. Bergstrasse elementary to the "Tigers" where you got the nickname from "Bunky". I still have a calculator with mathematical programs on it created by you. I remember being a little kid with the sleep overs and hang outs. I remember battling at recess to see who was faster... you were. I'm glad I was able to share the time we spent.
