Obituary for Lance E. Royer

Lance E.  Royer
Lance E. Royer, 83, of Narvon, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Conestoga View.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Frank and Edna (Keller) Royer and was the companion of Margaret Ingram.

Lance was a laborer for Moyer and also Gerber. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He served as a sharpshooter and marksman all over the world. Lance loved wrestling and collecting coins and stamps. He especially enjoyed visiting Green Dragon and fishing.

In addition to his companion, Lance is survived by 2 daughters, Crystale L. Royer of Akron, Luella M. Sensenich of Leola; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a brother, Terry M. Royer of Akron and 3 sisters, Charmaine G. Wenrich of Reinholds, Wanda L. Leed of New Holland, Vivian A. Garman of Ephrata.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister.

A viewing will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017, from 10 to 11 AM at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 11 AM with Rev. Timothy Craven officiating. Interment will take place in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Conestoga View and Hospice and Community Care for their kindness and compassion during Lance's stay.
