Gary D. Johnson, 79, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017, at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center.

He was born in Lansing, Michigan to the late Emil and Eleonor (Parsons) Johnson and was the husband of Anna (Young) Johnson with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Gary was a mechanic for Mack Trucks and moved on to become president of Mack Canada and vice president of Mack Trucks International..

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by 2 sons, Edward, husband of Maureen Johnson of CA, Richard, husband of Deborah Johnson of Ephrata; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and 2 sisters, Barbara Castle of CA, Kristina, wife of Eric Isachsen of NY.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
