Margaret "Peggy" Horst Sensenig, 79, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Conestoga View.
She was born in Ephrata to the late Charles and Pauline (Sweitzer) Horst and was the wife of the late Marlin "Ray" Sensenig who died in 2011.
She was a member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, Mountville.
Peggy had previously worked for Donegal Industries, the Totes outlet and Roherstown Elementary. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and the outdoors. She also enjoyed crocheting, doing word search puzzles and was a "Days of Our Lives" fan.
Peggy is survived by 2 sons, Dennis Sensenig of Gorham, ME, Scott Sensenig of Red Lion; a daughter, Cindy Sensenig of Lancaster; 4 grandchildren Kaylee Dubbs, Steve Sensenig, Jennifer Sensenig, and Shannon Sensenig; 2 sisters, Gloria Adams of Ephrata, Phyllis, wife of Wayne Burkholder of Leola and 2 great-grandchildren, Ender Sensenig and Chloe Baumann.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Horst.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 6 to 7 PM at the Stradling Funeral Home, 33 North Ninth Street, Akron, followed by a memorial service at 7 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
