H. Dianne Tothero, 78, of Stevens, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was born in Lancaster to the late H. Ellsworth Heistand and Joyce C. (Hurst) Hurst and was the wife of the late Jacob Leon Tothero who died in 1985.

She had been a member of Peace UCC Church.

Dianne worked for W. W. Moyer. and most recently in the cafeteria for the Cocalico High School. She loved caring for her family, horses, cats, and dogs, especially Collies

Dianne is survived by 2 sons, Brian S. Tothero of Stevens, Terrence L., husband of Tammy (Bucher) Tothero of Ephrata; a brother, Emil Thomas, husband of Nancy (Jones) Berlet of East Petersburg and 2 grandchildren, Chad and Kaitlyn Tothero.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 step-fathers, Harold A. Hurst and Emil L. Berlet.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017, from 6 to 7 PM at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 North Ninth Street, Akron followed by funeral services at 7:00 PM. Interment will take place in the Muddy Creek Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Dianne's memory may be made to Ephrata Manor, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata, PA 17522.
