Jonas Foundling, 97, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Lancashire Hall.

He was born in Portsmouth, England to the late Jonas and Florrie (Gaines) Foundling and was the husband of the late Wendy Foundling who passed away in March 31, 2008.

Jonas was a property manager. He was a member of Ephrata Blue Lodge #665 F. and A.M. He also served in the British Army during World War II.

Jonas is survived by a son, Bryce, husband of Gloria Foundling, a daughter, Pauline Fleming, both of England; 4 grandsons; 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, including Diane Swisher with whom he resided with for 5 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gwendoline Foundling; his wife, Wendy Foundling; 3 brothers, Thomas, Edward and Frederick Foundling and a sister, Hilda Brown of Ephrata.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
