Condolence: To Roger's loved ones: 10-31
When we went to lunch today at Shady Maple the first thing that our old friends told us was that Roger had passed. Our eyes filled with tears.
We have known Roger for over twenty years and he cooked us many a good meal. We loved the "Old Chef." He was a gentleman and a marvelous person. How many times he spoke of his love for Cape May. It is our wish that his spirit shall roam those beaches and inland water-ways for eternity.
May his family find comfort in the fact that he has inspired the lives of many strangers, who really were never strangers once they had encountered the spirit of this great man.
